Herpangina

Herpangina is an acute febrile illness associated with small vesicular or ulcerative lesions on the posterior oropharyngeal structures (enanthem). Herpangina typically occurs during the summer and usually develops in children, occasionally occurring in newborns, adolescents, and young adults.
